On January 3, 2009, a group of senior paralegals formed a litigation users group (PLUG), to study what were then the proposed Civil Rules for British Columbia. The proposed rules eventually became the New Civil Rules. PLUG concluded their study of the Rules on February 1, 2010 by publishing and tendering its recommendations report to the legal profession.
