Dom C. Bautista
Executive Director & Managing Editor, Law Courts Center
Dom has been the executive director of the Law Courts Center for 18 years. He has sat on the Programme Advisory Committee of the Legal Office Assistant Program at Camosun College and Vancouver Community College. Dom is a member of the American Association for Paralegal Educators, American Continuing Legal Educators Association,
American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers,
BC Paralegal Association, National Association of Legal Assistants, Vancouver Association of Law Librarians and Victoria Legal Staff Association.
He devotes his spare time with the Filipino-Chinese Association of BC.
M. Dee Rogers
Assistant Director of Programs & Senior Instructor
Dee is responsible for the development and management of the litigation programs. She is also the manager of the teaching staff. After graduating from the Capilano College Paralegal Program in 1990, Dee has worked continuously in the legal profession, and with Webster & Associates since 1991. She is skilled at managing the volumes of complex documentation associated with personal injury cases, and through her concentrated work with Mr. Brian Webster, she has acquired special knowledge and experience in neuro law.

Linda Durham
Chief Training Officer & Instructor
Linda is the chief training officer for the teaching staff. Linda has a master's degree in adult education from Simon Fraser University in 2002 and is presently researching brain based education in the University of Washington.
Kathie Austin
Instructor & Senior Editor, Law Courts Center
Kathie is a freelance legal assistant who has been working in law in Vancouver and Toronto for twenty-five years. She serves as the principal editor for all the desk reference manuals of Law Courts Center. She writes fiction and poetry and is interested in the way legal staff manage their work and personal lives.
Linda Case
Instructor & Author, Law Courts Center
Linda’s paralegal career began after she completed her paralegal studies at Capilano College in 1982 as their valedictorian. Her experience spans twenty five years of handling general civil litigation cases and specifically personal (motor vehicle) injury actions for both the plaintiff and defence bars. While employed with ICBC, she experienced the world of a claim centre adjuster and brings that aspect to her writing and teaching as well. Linda has written a number of desk reference manuals.
Leslie McDougall
Author, Law Courts Center
Leslie works as a freelance paralegal with several law firms in the Lower Mainland. Leslie is a graduate of Capilano College’s Paralegal Program in 1996. She co-authored the Personal Injury Book of Letters for Law Courts Center.
Cheryl Stephens
Instructor & Author, Law Courts Center
Cheryl graduted from the University of British Columibia Faculty of Law in 1977. She practiced criminal, family, and insolvency law in British Columbia before becoming a legal educator and specialist in legal communication and writing. She is active in the plain language, literacy, and public legal education communities.
Nancy Vianello
Senior Instructor & Author, Law Courts Center
After graduating from the Capilano College Paralegal Program in 1992, Nancy has been with Clark Wilson LLP. As their senior paralegal, Nancy spends most of her time working in the areas of general litigation, family and condominium law. Nancy continues to develop new courses and to write desk reference manuals. She is one of the principal authors for the BC Litigation Guide.
